Where This Class Fits

The SuperFly Progression:

  • Intro to BJJ/101 → Learn the basics step by step (best for absolute beginners)
  • BJJ Fundamentals → Build reliable skills, positioning, and controlled live work
  • Intermediate / Advanced → Increase pace, advanced concepts, competition preparation, and strategy for different tournament rulesets

What to Expect in Intermediate / Advanced

This class is for students who want deeper No-Gi concepts, and for competitors who want sharper timing, tournament strategy, and rounds that match tournament pace.

You’ll Train:

  • More advanced combinations (position → transition → finish)
  • Faster drilling with sharper details and higher expectations
  • Situational rounds that force good decisions (not just memorized moves)
  • More live rolling than Intro/101 or Fundamentals
  • Strategy and timing: when to stabilize, attack, reset, and transition
  • Deeper systems: reactions, counters, and follow-up attacks
  • Problem-solving rounds (specific constraints so you learn faster)
  • Competition preparation and ruleset awareness (IBJJF, ADCC, and common local formats)

How We Train

We still teach with structure and coaching, just with more layers, more problem-solving, and more chances to apply what you learn in live rounds.

Class Structure:

  • Technical instruction (clear details and common counters)
  • Focused drilling (precision first, then speed)
  • Situational rounds (starting from specific positions)
  • Live rounds with coaching cues and feedback

Who This Class Is For

This is not a beginner class. It’s suited for students who can roll safely and understand core positions.

Great Fit For:

  • Students who are comfortable with core positions and controlled live rounds
  • Competitors preparing for tournaments
  • Hobbyists who want a challenge and steady improvement
