Jake Jo

Jake Jo is an American Top Team Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under fifth-degree black belt and UFC veteran, Roan “Jucão” Carneiro. He started his BJJ career under Jim Abrille in 2005. Jake’s style is strong in leglock attacks, and he absolutely has the best hair of all the instructors.

Daniel Wilkins is an American Top Team Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under fifth-degree black belt and UFC veteran, Roan “Jucão” Carneiro. His BJJ journey started at Alliance Jiu-Jitsu in Atlanta, where he took his first class in 2009 at the urging of a close friend.

Daniel Wilkins is an American Top Team Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under fifth degree black belt and UFC veteran, Roan “Jucao” Carneiro. His BJJ journey started at Alliance Jiu Jitsu in Atlanta, where he took his first class in 2009 at the urging of a close friend. In 2013, Daniel moved over to American Top Team to train under Jucao and to focus on No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu. He has been competing in Gi and No-Gi tournaments since white belt, and has multiple medals at each belt level in IBJJF, Naga, Newbreed, and Copa tournaments. He is incredibly excited to begin focusing on teaching more and helping foster a love for the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the next generation of athletes and hobbyists alike.
Daniel is also a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist, MMA Conditioning Specialist, and Youth Exercise Specialist, and he enjoys integrating his experience in these areas into his classes.

Leon Davis

Leon is a decorated wrestler and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor with over two decades of experience in combat sports. His wrestling career began in Massachusetts, where he earned over 100 wins and multiple high school wrestling titles. Some of those records still stand today.
In college, he became a Region X Champion, 2x National Qualifier, and All- American at Springfield Technical C.C.. Leon was inducted into the NJCAA Region X Hall of Fame in 2011.
After College, Leon transitioned into MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He was ranked #1 in both the Lightweight and Welterweight divisions across the Northeast, and appeared on major platforms like UFC Fight Pass, ESPN+, and Flograppling Networks. He is a multiple-time IBJJF Pan American and No-Gi World Champion.
In 2024, at the rank of brown belt, Leon achieved the IBJJF “Grand Slam”, by winning the Brazilian Nationals, Europeans, Pan Americans, and the World Championships in the same year. Later in 2024, Leon was awarded his black belt by Roan “Jucão” Carniero.
Outside of competition, Leon is a passionate coach who has built championship wrestling teams and mentored countless athletes. Under his leadership, Minnechaug Regional High School won its first-ever wrestling Sectional and State Championships in 2023. Leon continues to train, compete, and give back through Parks & Rec programs, inspiring the next generation to experience the life-changing power of combat sports.
Kyle Dix

Kyle started both wrestling and jiu-jitsu in 2005. He wrestled at the University of Georgia and has trained BJJ at Megalodon Gym in Athens, GA, Spear Jiu-Jitsu in Philadelphia, PA, Summit BJJ in Seattle, WA, and American Top Team in Atlanta, GA. Kyle received his black belt from Roan “Jucão” Carneiro in December 2019.
Charles Hellier
Brown Belt
Charles started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Roan “Jucão” Carneiro at American Top Team Atlanta in late 2014. Since then, he has spent time at gyms up and down the East Coast, focusing primarily on No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and has taken mentorship under American Top Team black belts Jake Jo and Daniel Wilkins. He’s been an instructor at SuperFly BJJ since 2023 and played a key role in developing our kids’ BJJ program. He received his brown belt in 2024.
Bella Tobin
Purple Belt
Bella is a SuperFly BJJ purple belt and teaches our women’s no-gi BJJ class. She began training in 2017 at Island Jiu Jitsu in Honolulu, HI, and then at the Jiu Jitsu Academy of Stillwater in Stillwater, OK. Bella finally made her way to Decatur, GA, and became part of the SuperFly family in 2023.
